IAP consultants offer a wide variety of monitoring services associated with
indoor air quality and comfort. Airborne microbiological samples can be analysed
for fungi and general bacterial levels. Airborne dust samples can be collected
on a continuous basis throughout a typical working day and analized to assess
particulate load.
We can measure ambient elements. Temperature, relative humidity and carbon
dioxide levels can also be monitored and assessed.
Air handling units and duct work serving office and public areas can be
physically inspected where accessible for bacteria (such as Legionella), and to
determine conditions and standards of maintenance and their potential impact on
the environment. The ability of air handling units to effectively filter air can
be measured using airborne particle counting equipment.
Where applicable, airflow velocities in circulating air and supply air will be
undertaken to confirm whether ventilation systems are balanced and providing
suitable air movement for staff health and comfort purposes.
